Welcome to the UK's Annual Whipcracking Convention!

2007 British Whipcracking Convention

Click Here  to see what happened in July 2008 or come and meet some of us who attended
by joining Whipcrack UK

Circus Skill, Performing Art, Sport or Hobby, Whipcracking can be any of these things.
Is your hero Indiana Jones, Cat Woman or Lash Larue? If you are interested in whips then this is the event for you.

If you are a novice who has never cracked a whip before come and join us. Have fun practicing an exciting new activity that's challenging, healthy and relatively cheap to get started in. The sport is accessible to almost anyone regardless of gender, age or physical ability. We have whips for you to borrow,if you don't have your own; and you will go away from the day knowing enough to progress further on you own. After that, you don't need huge amountsof expensive coaching or equipment - just a whip, enough space to throw it, and some common sense about safety.

If you are an experienced whipcracker, come and test your skills in the competitions, learn new cracks or share your knowledge with fellow whipenthusiasts.

Please Note that reasonable precautions will be taken as regards to safety but, as with any sport, it is impossible to remove all risk. The organisers cannot beresponsible for any injury that may occur during the convention. Please see our safety page for information of suitable clothing etc for Convention attendees.

Please remember that the Convention is a family-friendly event.
The organisers reserve the right to suspend any participant from the convention, if that participant places themselves or others at risk; or behaves in aninappropriate manner.
